In August 2021, the tutors of high-tech high schools in the United States were invited to provide teachers with world-leading PBL training. VBS STEAM project mainly focuses on AI, integrates Science, History, Architecture, Art, and Music, and makes innovative attempts to integrate disciplines in project-based learning at all grades, such as making solar water heaters (Science and AI), Dutch windmill (Science, AI, and Architectural), and energy conservation of generator (Science and AI), speech recognition (AI, Chinese and Mathematics), fish and plant symbiotic circulatory system (AI and Biology), clay bomb music (Science, AI and Music), and intelligent spray humidifier (Science and AI).
VBS always adheres to provide students with various courses and learning methods that meet the needs of students' development. In this application for the experimental school, all relevant work and assessment indicators of VBS meet the requirements, which benefit from the top-level curriculum design of the school. The school will continue to highlight innovative characteristics, steadily carry out experiments, accept the regular acceptance of the Education Bureau with high standards, and use a new learning method to enable children to have the knowledge and ability to experience and adapt to the future.
