VBS Emergency Rescue Training was held at theatre on 4th December to improve staff's ability to deal with emergency. Hosted by FM106.2 hostress Ms. Lingling, all staff attended this training under the guidance by SRVF.

Golden four minutes rescue rule - irreversible damage would incur on brain cells four minutes after cardiac arrest began. If it was ten minutes, brain death could happen. The survival rate could be 90% and 60% if rescue was performed within one minute and four minutes respectively. Hence we ought to rescue against the clock when someone had cardiac arrest. The first responder had to perform chest press and defibrillation.

Trainers from SRVF delivered training, demonstration and operation for relevant rescue actions to take on as first responders. Teachers were active in the training to learn necessary skills and knowledge to handle emergency.
