VBS News Net: Residence Teachers Department organised a session on 22nd September for excellent residence teachers to share their experience to new teachers, to exchange ideas on their job experience and unite the team.
Eight teachers prepared well for this two-hour session. They illustrated their skills and experience by vivid examples and basic language.
Ms. Zhang Li talked about how she accompanied students by paying attention to their details and gained their trust by her patience, responsibility. She believed the relationship between teachers and students lied on co-existence of trust and understanding with discipline.
Ms. Wang Yuanxiang had much to say on students with behaviour issues - the key was to find their strengths and encourage them to be better when regaining confidence. Such actions were critical to rectify students' behaviour.
Ms. Zou Xueping had her understanding towards lunch break management - students would benefit from having good habits, but that did not come shortly. Instead, good habits were formed by consistency.
Ms. Li Zhenzhen thought that residence teachers were important to connect students, parents and the school - they had to win the hearts of parents by their sincerity and examples.
Teachers sharing were very helpful as everyone gained strength and recorded down the important ideas. This session improved their skills on communication, work and team bond among teachers.
Deputy Head of Development Centre Ms. Huang Yajuan concluded the meeting. She commended the speakers for this session and encouraged new teachers to adjust themselves for their roles, 'Education without love is pale and powerless, every little things in your work can be a motivating statement for education,' she also sent regards to all teachers for their professional development and to do their parts in helping students grow up.
