VBS News Net: To implement the notice given by People's Government of Guangdong Province on intervening students' psychological crisis, supervision group at Education Supervision Unit from People's Government of Shenzhen Municipality visited VBS to inspect VBS for its intervention against students' psychological crisis on 10th June. Principal Yang, Head of Development Centre Ms. Zheng, Head of Residential Teachers Department Ms. Huang and Head of General Affairs Mr. Lin cordially welcomed the guests.

Every two schools in each district was inspected during this supervision. Head of Guangming District Education Science and Research Institute Dr. Peng Hongyu, Head of Longhua District Education Supervision Unit Mr. Huang Siliang and other personnel from Guangming District and Longhua District were in charge of this supervision.

The supervision focused on the reinforcement of school's mental health education, relief of students' stress, implementation of teachers' training, students' recreational and sports activities, logistics services and campus safety services etc. 

Principal Yang explained how VBS had done with regards to each section of the supervision. 

VBS school counselor Ms. Zheng Jiajia explained the prevention mechanism of psychological crisis - this included life planning lessons, Parents' Academy, one on one communication and special care plans. The mechanism was carried out by sifting, recording, observing, counselling and prevention as school had specific regulations at each level.

The supervision group then read relevant documents and checked the facilities - classrooms, canteen, swimming pool, basketball court, theatre. They commended the school's advanced facilities and the clear cut interventions.
