Some Junior Secondary students started their boarding school life. As some of them had never left their parents, they had trouble getting used to the group living. Life teachers put in effort to guide them to clean and tidy up their stuff, build a conducive living space and develop living habits which are united, bonding and healthy. Students could get accustomed to the life in school and work together to maintain their dormitory a conducive living environment.

Life teachers decorated the siesta rooms to enable students to feel home and rest well so that they could study better in the afternoon. Every student got to fall asleep for many classes so this was highly commended by parents.

Year 7 students put up a mass singing and dancing to express their love to VBS and their expectations for the future. Their choreography displayed vibrancy, youth and confidence.

Themed 'manners and building civilised city and campus', this ceremony joined artistic performances to demonstrate positive energy and spirits. All staff and students were practising core values of socialism and keeping the traditional Chinese virtues to make their own contributions in building civilised city for Shenzhen and civilised campus for VBS.
