VBS News Net: Mr Liu Xiaoming, chairman of professional committee for Association of Education Internationalisation, Guangdong Education Society led a 4-person research group to VBS in the morning of 26th September. 

With the company of Principal Ms Cara Yang and Head of Development Centre Ms Zheng Shiying, the educational experts first had a tour around the school and the facilities. They were impressed by the advanced AI classroom, adjustable tables at the labs and classrooms, student lockers imported from the US, abundance of books in the library as well as the step design of school space. 

Later at the conference room 105, Principal Yang introduced VBS' philosophy, speciality, curriculum building and especially the results attained from the exploration, practice of internationalised education VBS had taken to. This included the implementation of integrated bilingual curricula, internationalised small class teaching methods, VBS Cloud lessons, Life planning class, AI class as well as Architecture. VBS also initiated ESL classes taught by international teachers, Drama, Music, Arts, Science, Mathematics, Physical Education to holistically improve students' communicative skills, academic skills and thinking ability in English. Since its founding in 2018, besides compulsory curricula, VBS also set up more than 40 elective classes to open up students' possibilties with enriching lessons and provide them with opportunities to grow. 

Experts in education sector spoke highly of VBS' curriculum and school philosophy while recognising innovations and achievements accomplished by VBS with a time span of one year. Such experience are worth sharing via publishing books or discussions for other schools' reference. They also encouraged VBS to continue to broaden internationalise education possibilities and pathways, to play a crucial role in setting examples as well as to build a high-end private school at top class level in light of building pilot demonstration area of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the enormous support of Vanke Group and Education Bureau of Longhua District, Shenzhen. 

Principal Yang stated that VBS would be committed to development, and to build an innovative internationalised school and prepare students well for the AI era and to blend in with the world as well as to stand at the centre of future courageously.
