万双网讯  为提高学生演讲与表达的综合能力，提升学生的中英文综合素养，让孩子站在舞台中央，2024年09月25日下午6时，梅沙教育深圳万科双语学校第26期E-talk活动在学校剧场举行。100余名师生现场聆听了演讲。活动同时面向全校师生直播。

VBS Net News enhances students’ comprehensive abilities in public speaking and self-expression, and improves their bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English, allowing children to stand at the center of the stage. The 26th E-Talk event at Vanke Bilingual School was held in the school theater on September 25, 2024, at 6:00 PM. Over a hundred teachers and students attended the speeches. The event was also broadcasted live to all the staff and students of the school.

本次E-talk活动的主题是“我们爱动物”。来自五至六年级的6名同学用英文进行了精彩的演讲。同学们分享了“对动物的喜爱与保护”。评委老师为同学们的精彩表现做了点评。

The theme of this E-Talk event was “We Love Animals.” Six students from the fifth and sixth grades delivered outstanding speeches in English. The students shared their ideas on “loving and protecting animals.” The judges provided feedback on the students’ outstanding performances.

何芷宸 ：猫 

He Zhichen：Cats

5X班的何芷宸（Tanya）同学为大家介绍了自己心爱的小伙伴——猫。她对小猫的外貌和特点描述得细致入微，对小猫的生活习性如数家珍，她真情希望大家照顾好这些神奇的小精灵。芷宸同学流利的英文演说、自信大方的台风、说起小猫时眼底绽放的光芒，都令评委和观众赞叹不已。评委表扬她感情真挚，用细腻的言辞和深情的语调，成功地将小猫的可爱之处传递给了每一位听众，让人们仿佛能看到那些毛茸茸的小生命在眼前跳跃，感受到它们的温暖和活泼。

He Zhichen (Tanya) from class 5X introduced her beloved companion, her cat. She described the kitten’s appearance and characteristics in great detail and was well-versed in its living habits. She sincerely hoped that everyone would take good care of these magical little creatures. Zhichen’s fluent English speech, confident demeanor, and the spark in her eyes when talking about the kitten amazed both the judges and the audience. The judges praised her for her genuine emotions, noting that her delicate words and heartfelt intonation successfully conveyed the cuteness of kittens to every listener, making it feel as if they could see those furry little beings jumping before their eyes with their warmth and liveliness.

杨可欣：中国国宝大熊猫 

Yang Kexin：The Giant Panda, China's National Treasure

5Y班的杨可欣（Sunny）同学落落大方地为大家详细介绍了中国的国宝——大熊猫，带领大家一起了解了大熊猫的外形、生活习性，她的声音中带着深深的关切，对大熊猫这一濒危物种的稀缺现状表达了强烈的忧虑。她呼吁大家提高保护意识，共同采取行动来守护这些珍贵的国宝，让大熊猫的种群得以繁衍生息，让这些可爱的生物能够快乐地在自然中生活。评委老师赞扬可心说：“谢谢你Sunny，告诉我们许多关于中国国宝大熊猫的知识！你的演讲很清晰，你的台风也很稳健和自信，干得好！”

Yang Kexin (Sunny) from class 5Y confidently delivered a detailed introduction about China’s national treasure—the giant panda. She guided everyone in understanding the panda’s appearance and habits. Her voice was filled with deep concern as she expressed her strong worries about the scarcity of this endangered species. She called for everyone to raise their awareness of panda conservation and take action together to protect these precious national treasures, ensuring that the panda population can thrive and that these adorable creatures can live happily in nature. The judging teacher praised Kexin, saying, “Thank you, Sunny, for sharing so much knowledge about China’s national treasure, the giant panda! Your speech was clear, and your presence was steady and confident. Well done!”

白雅茜：保护动物多样性 

Bai Yaqian： Protecting Animal Diversity

5Y班的白雅茜（Kate）同学以“保护动物多样性”为主题，先是带观众们回顾了渡渡鸟、中国犀牛等已经灭绝的动物的资料，利用详实的数据阐述了生物多样性的重要性，语言犀利地指出动物多样性面临的威胁的现状和原因。她倡议大家保护动物，建议从拒绝购买与稀有动物有关的商品做起。评委称赞雅茜道：“Kate关于动物保护和生物多样性的演讲既深刻又有趣。你以清晰、自信和信息丰富的方式呈现。内容组织良好，涵盖了动物保护和生物多样性的现状，解释了为什么这个问题如此重要，并以更好地保护野生动物和生物多样性的解决方案作为结论。很棒的演讲，Kate！”

Kate from class 5Y delivered a presentation on the theme of “Protecting Animal Diversity.” She first took the audience on a journey, reviewing information about extinct animals such as the dodo bird and the Chinese rhino, using detailed data to illustrate the importance of biodiversity. She pointed out the current threats to animal diversity. Kate advocated for everyone to protect animals and suggested starting by refusing to buy products related to endangered species. The judges praised her, saying,“Kate’s presentation on the protection of animals and biodiversity was both insightful and engaging. You presented in a clear, confident, and informative manner. The content was well-organized, covering the current state of animal protection and biodiversity, explaining why this issue is so important, and concluding with solutions to better safeguard wildlife and biodiversity. Great presentation, Kate!”

冼青蔓：神奇的猫 

Xian Qingman：The Magical Cat

5D班的冼青蔓（Mandy）同学同样是猫咪的饲养者，她分享了小猫喜欢晒太阳、爱睡觉、注重清洁的习惯，还着重介绍了小猫的好奇心。她认为虽然猫的好奇心有时可能会给它们带来麻烦，但这也是它们探索世界的驱动力。她也是小猫的“学生”，因为小猫教会了她简单地享受生活。评委感谢Mandy带她了解到了小猫的另一面，认为小猫也具有成长性思维模式，所以我们都应该向小猫学习。

Mandy from class 5D is also a cat owner. She shared that kittens love to bask in the sun, enjoy sleeping, and prioritize cleanliness, while also emphasizing their curiosity. She believes that although a cat’s curiosity can sometimes lead to trouble, it is also what drives them to explore the world. She considers herself a “student” of the cat, as it has taught her to simply enjoy life. The judges thanked Mandy for introducing them to another side of kitten behavior, noting that cats also possess a growth mindset, and that we should all learn from them.

陈星雨：保护野生动物 

Chen Xingyu：Protecting Wildlife

6G班的陈星雨（Kevin）同学用鲜明的数据和直击人心的图片展示了人类活动对野生动物造成的严重伤害，并且告诉大家保护野生动物的重要性以及应当采取的措施，呼吁同学们节约用水、电、纸和食物，不伤害野生动物，也倡议建立更多的自然保护区来保护野生动物。评委点评：“你能够关注到’保护动物‘这个主题非常好，最优秀的是你还在演讲中使用了一些数据佐证你的观点，并且想了一些切实可行的办法。非常棒！”

Kevin from class 6G used striking data and impactful images to showcase the serious harm caused to wildlife by human activities. He emphasized the importance of protecting wild animals and the measures that should be taken. Kevin encouraged his classmates to conserve water, electricity, paper, and food, to avoid harming wildlife. He also advocated for the establishment of more nature reserves to protect wildlife. The judges commented, “It’s wonderful that you focus on the theme of protecting animals.” The best part is that you used some data to support your points in your speech and proposed practical solutions. Great job!"

杨峥：拯救动物 

Yang Zheng：Saving Animals

6O班的杨峥（William）同学以“拯救动物”为主题，向观众们介绍了许多动物因人类活动而灭绝的情况，强调了动物保护的重要性。他深情呼吁人类保护动物栖息地、停止非法狩猎，提高公众保护动物的意识。评委点评说：“我认为你的演讲很棒，这是一个非常重要的主题，在学生和年轻人中提高意识的确可以很好地保护动物们，最令我惊喜的是你给了我们如何帮助的步骤。在演讲过程中，你通过放慢演讲节奏来保证流畅度，这是一个非常好的方法！”

William from class O presented on the theme of “Saving Animals,” introducing the audience to many species that have gone extinct due to human activities while emphasizing the importance of animal protection. He passionately urged humans to protect animal habitats, stop illegal hunting, and raise public awareness about animal conservation. The judges commented, “I think your speech was excellent. This is a very important topic, and raising awareness among students and young people can significantly help protect animals. What surprised me the most was that you provided steps on how we can help. During your presentation, you slowed down your speaking pace to ensure fluency, which is a great technique!”

万科双语学校E-talk活动每周举行一次，学生自主报名参与，中文、英文均可，老师将相同或相似主题的演讲者安排在同一期演讲，主旨是让学生做到能说、会说、敢说，善思、善辩、善究。

The E-talk activity of Vanke Bilingual School is held once a week. Students can sign up to participate on their own. Both Chinese and English are accepted. The teacher arranges speakers with the same or similar topics to give speeches in the same period. The purpose is to enable students to be able to speak freely, confidently and bravely; to improve their thinking, debating, and conducting of research.

E-talk的舞台是开放的，我们欢迎每一位VBS未来少年来到这里，站在聚光灯下，向世界展示自己的独特魅力；我们鼓励孩子们挑战自我，突破困境；我们相信，每一个孩子都有无限的潜力，只要他们有勇气站上舞台，就有可能成为真正的演讲者。

The stage of the E-talk is open. We welcome every future VBS teenager to come here, stand in the spotlight, and show their unique charms to the world; we encourage children to challenge themselves and break through difficulties; we believe that every child has unlimited potential. As long as they have the courage to stand on the stage, they may become real speakers.

让我们一起期待，在E-talk的舞台上，VBS未来少年们将如何用他们的声音，引领我们走进他们的世界，感受他们的热情与活力。
