万双网讯  2024年9月18日上午8时，梅沙教育深圳万科双语学校2024-2025学年第一学期第3周升旗仪式于学校操场举行。本周升旗仪式由8C和8D班承担，周然和廖子汉同学主持。

At 8:00am. on  September 18, 2024, the flag-raising ceremony for the 3rd week of the first semester of the 2024-2025 academic year took place on the school playground at Meisha Education Shenzhen Vanke Bilingual School.This week’s flag-raising ceremony was undertaken by classes 8C and 8D, and was presided over by Zhou Ran and Liao Zihan.

升旗日恰逢九一八事变纪念日，8D班廖弘毅和8C班刘思棋同学进行了名为《铭记历史，不忘国耻》的国旗下讲话。他们回顾了1931年九一八事变的历史，强调警钟长鸣九一八是对历史的警示和未来的反思，落后就要挨打，呼吁同学们铭记历史、以史为鉴、发奋图强、增强国防意识和爱国热情，继承发扬优良传统，为实现中华民族伟大复兴贡献力量，并带领大家宣誓 “铭记历史，不忘国耻；为中华民族的伟大复兴而努力学习！”

The flag-raising day coincided with the anniversary of the September 18th Incident.Students Liao Hongyi from Class 8D and Liu Siqi from Class 8C delivered a speech titled“Reflect on the Past,Keep the Humiliation of our Country in Mind”under the national flag.They reviewed the history of the September 18th Incident in 1931, emphasized that the echo of the warning serves as a reminder of history and a reflection for the future.They stated that falling behind will lead to being attacked, calling on their classmates to recall on the past,draw strength from history,go all out to make our Chinese nation stronger,enhance national defense awareness,and foster patriotic enthusiasm.They urged everyone to inherit and promote good traditions, contributing to the rejuvenation for the Chinese nation,and led the group in pledging, “Reflect on the Past,Keep the Humiliation of our Country in Mind; Strive to study for the the rejuvenation for the Chinese nation!”

派驻第一书记刘晓娟在最新的时事热点分享中，详细介绍了中俄“北部·联合-2024”联合军演的启动情况，强调了这一行动标志着中俄军事合作的进一步加强，让学生们深刻体会到两国在军事领域的深厚合作及其展现出的强大军事实力。同时，刘老师自豪地提及中国航天事业的最新成就，包括神舟十八号航天员的出舱活动和嫦娥六号的月球背面采样返回，展现了中国在航天领域的飞速发展。她鼓励学生们以国家发展为动力，努力学习，提升自身素质，并向身边的优秀榜样学习，努力向万双的培养（成长）目标靠近。

In the latest current affairs sharing session, Liu Xiaojun,the First Secretary, provided a detailed introduction to the launch of the “Northern Joint-2024” joint military exercise between China and Russia.She emphasized that this action marks a further strengthening of military cooperation between the two countries, allowing students to deeply understand the profound collaboration in the military field and the impressive military capabilities it demonstrates.Additionally, Ms Liu proudly highlighted China’s latest achievements in space exploration, including the Shenzhou 18 astronaut exit activity and the Chang’e 6 lunar sample return mission. These accomplishments showcase China’s rapid advancements in the field of aerospace. She encouraged students to draw inspiration from national development, strive for academic excellence, and learn from outstanding role models to achieve their personal growth objectives.

仪式最后，吴海鸥老师宣布学校将举办一场辩论赛，主题为“学生使用电子产品利大于弊还是弊大于利”，旨在引导学生和家长深入探讨电子产品在学习和生活中的双面性。本次辩论赛将邀请六、七年级学生和家长参与辩论，八年级学生将进行主题演讲，而其他年级学生则可以通过撰写观点卡参与讨论。吴老师鼓励全体学生积极参与，共同思考如何正确使用电子产品，以培养健康的使用习惯并将其积极影响最大化。

At the end of the ceremony, Ms Wu Hai’ou announced that the school will host a debate competition with the theme “Do the benefits of students using electronic devices outweigh the disadvantages, or vice versa?” The aim is to guide students and parents to engage in an in-depth discussion about the dual nature of electronic devices in learning and daily life.The debate will invite sixth and seventh-grade students and parents to participate, while eighth-grade students will deliver theme speeches. Students from other grades can join the discussion by writing opinion cards. Teacher Wu encouraged all students to actively participate and think about how to use electronic products correctly, in order to cultivate healthy usage habits and maximize their positive impacts.

At this moment, looking at the fluttering Five-Star Red Flag, my heart is filled with boundless love for our country, while I cannot forget that painful period of history.

1931年9月18日，那是一个令所有中国人永远铭记的夜晚。在日本关东军的精心策划下，沈阳柳条湖附近的一段南满铁路被炸毁，日本以此为借口，悍然向中国军队发动进攻，占领了沈阳城，并在随后的几个月内，迅速侵占了我国东北三省。这就是震惊中外的九一八事变，它标志着日本侵华战争的开始，揭开了中华民族长达14年艰苦卓绝的抗战序幕，也是法西斯点燃的第一把侵略战火，揭开了第二次世界大战的序幕。

On the night of September 18th, 1931, it was a night that all Chinese people will  remember forever. Under the careful plotting of the Japanese Kwantung Army, a section of the South Manchuria Railway near Shenyang’s LiuTiaoHu was blown up, and Japan used this as an excuse to launch an attack on the Chinese army, occupying Shenyang City and quickly invading the three provinces of northeastern China in the following months. This is the September 18th Incident, which shocked the world, marking the beginning of Japan’s invasion of China and the opening curtain of the Chinese people’s arduous 14-year anti-Japanese war, and also the first spark of fascist aggression, opening the curtain of the Second World War.

The bell rings loudly on September 18th, not only as a warning of history, but also as a reflection on future development. The incident on September 18th, 1931, taught us a profound lesson: being behind means being beaten. Only when our country is strong and our nation rises can we stand firm on the international stage. Commemorating the incident on September 18th, we should remember history, pay attention to national affairs, care about the fate of our nation, and constantly enhance our national defense awareness and patriotic passion. Upon hearing this news, I couldn’t help but reflect on our country’s aerospace achievements.This year, the Shenzhou 18 astronauts successfully completed their second spacewalk, demonstrating China’s extraordinary capabilities in operating and maintaining its space station. Additionally, the Chang’e 6 mission successfully returned samples from the Moon’s far side, marking the first-ever lunar far-side sampling return, an accomplishment hailed as a milestone by British media. In just the first half of this year, China has undertaken 30 launch missions, deploying over 80 satellites. Our nation’s aerospace industry continually exemplifies “China’s Acceleration.”
