VBS Net News  On September 18, 2023, Vanke Bilingual School held a flag-raising ceremony in the fourth week of the first semester of 2023-2024. This week's flag-raising ceremony was undertaken by Class 7E and Class 7F. Class 7E and Class 7F are classes that are proactive, diligent and self-disciplined, civilized,united and supportive, ambitious, pragmatic and innovative.

升旗仪式由7E班汪颢渊、张峻嘉主持，7F班蒋斯煜、马梓鸣同学做了国旗下讲话。他们演讲的题目是“勿忘国耻，振兴中华”。 派驻第一书记杨艺娟老师做了时事热点宣讲。

The flag-raising ceremony was hosted by Wang Haoyuan and Zhang Junjia from Class 7E. Jiang Siyu and Ma Ziming from Class 7F gave speeches under the flag. The title of their speech was "Don't forget the national humiliation and revitalize China." Teacher Yang Yijuan, the first secretary in charge, gave a lecture on current affairs hot topics.

9月18日，凄厉的防空警报声划破天际，沉闷而有力的钟声敲击着古城沈阳的记忆，牵引着我们穿越回到了92年前……

On September 18th, the mournful sound of air defense sirens pierced the sky, and the dull and powerful sound of bells struck the memory of the ancient city of Shenyang, dragging us back to 92 years ago.

那本该是一个普通的夜晚，盘踞在中国东北的日本关东军，却在进行着一场精心策划的阴谋。由铁道“守备队”炸毁沈阳柳条湖附近日本修筑的南满铁路路轨，并嫁祸给中国军队。日军以此为借口，炮轰中国东北军北大营，制造了震惊中外的“九一八事变”。

That was supposed to be an ordinary night, and the Japanese Kwantung Army stationed in Northeast China was engaged in a carefully planned conspiracy. The railway "garrison" bombed the South Manchurian railway tracks built by Japan near Liutiao Lake in Shenyang and blamed the Chinese army. 杭州第19届亚运会（The 19th Asian Games）将于2023年9月23日至10月8日在杭州市举行。是继1990 年北京亚运会，2010 年广州亚运会之后，中国第三次举办亚洲最高规格的国际综合性体育赛事。

The 19th Asian Games will be held in Hangzhou from September 23 to October 8, 2023. It is the third time that China has hosted the highest-level international comprehensive sports event in Asia, following the 1990 Beijing Asian Games and the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games.

法国哲学家伏尔泰曾说，生命在于运动。运动对我们的身心健康有许多好处：可以增强肌肉和骨骼的力量，让我们的身体柔韧、灵活、有耐力；可以改善血液循环，促进心血管健康；可以消耗卡路里，实现理想的体重；可以增强免疫力，减少患病的风险；可以释放多巴胺和内啡肽等化学物质，提高注意力和认知能力，让我们充满自信和活力。举办运动会，可以绽放生命的精彩和活力，带动健康的生活方式。

The French philosopher Voltaire once said that life lies in sports. Sport has many benefits for our physical and mental health: it can enhance the strength of muscles and bones, making our body flexible and endurance; it can improve blood circulation and promote cardiovascular health;it can burn calories and achieve an ideal weight; it can enhance immunity and reduce the risk of disease; it can release chemicals such as dopamine and endorphins, improve concentration and cognitive abilities, and make us full of confidence and energy.
